One in ten children aged 5 to 16 suffer from a diagnosable mental health condition. Mental health can seriously affect a child’s education, self-confidence and self-esteem.
Our Child Mental Health Workshops can help children and young people to recognise the early signs of mental health in themselves and others, and to reduce the stigma associated with mental health.
Our facilitators will work with your children/students to promote wellbeing, regular exercise, healthy sleeping patterns, relaxation and breathing skills and explore resilience. Coping skills for dealing with anger, anxiety and stress will also be covered.
This half-day workshop is delivered in a fun, interactive way. Teachers will be given a follow up pack as part of the workshop.
